Summary of Policy

We process and store lead data and account data only as necessary to operate the integration between Meta Lead Ads and Salesforce CRM on behalf of Norwood Sawmills. Personally identifiable information from leads is received via webhook from Meta, processed by this service, and forwarded to Norwood’s Salesforce CRM for sales and marketing purposes in accordance with Norwood’s own privacy practices and applicable law.

Information We Collect and How It Is Used

Lead data from Meta (Facebook) Lead Ads

When you submit a lead form on Meta (Facebook) or Instagram in connection with Norwood Sawmills advertising, Meta sends that lead data to our webhook endpoint. This data may include your name, email address, phone number, and any other fields you completed in the lead form. We receive this data via a secure webhook, store it temporarily for processing and logging, and forward it to Norwood’s Salesforce CRM so that Norwood can respond to your inquiry and manage customer relationships. Norwood’s use of your data is governed by Norwood Sawmills’ Privacy Policy.

Account and dashboard use

If you sign in to the NWS Connect dashboard, we use a third-party authentication provider (Clerk) to manage your account. We do not store your password. We may store your email and account identifier for access control and support. Use of the dashboard (including viewing webhook activity and settings) is subject to this policy and our terms of use.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, to remember your preferences, and to improve the service. By using NWS Connect, you consent to the use of these technologies as described here. You can adjust your browser settings to limit or block cookies; doing so may affect your ability to use the dashboard.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Lead data received from Meta is shared only with Norwood Sawmills (via Salesforce CRM) for the purpose of responding to inquiries and managing customer relationships. We may share information with service providers (e.g., hosting, authentication, CRM integration) only to the extent necessary to operate the service, under contractual obligations to protect your data.

Data Retention

We retain webhook and lead data for as long as needed to process and sync leads to Salesforce and to maintain logs for troubleshooting and compliance. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account or data by contacting us; Norwood’s retention of lead data in Salesforce is governed by Norwood’s privacy policy and data retention practices.

Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, including HTTPS and secure storage. No system is completely secure; by using NWS Connect you acknowledge that we take reasonable steps to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
